Below is a brief description of who you’ll be working with if you choose Primp Hair and Makeup Artistry.

Courtney has been working in the beauty industry for seven years and has always had a love for hair styling and makeup artistry.  She grew up watching and studying her Mother and other family members who were hair stylists.  After earning her Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Indiana State University, Courtney attended Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy in Dallas, Texas.  Upon graduating she moved to Indianapolis, married her husband Scott, and started her career.  She has now been a stylist at Secrets Hair and Nail Design in Carmel, Indiana for nearly six years and values the relationships she has built with her fellow stylists and wonderful clients.  Courtney loves to learn the latest trends and techniques in the beauty industry and expressing her creativity through custom cut, color and makeup application.  Courtney and her husband Scott are blessed to be parents to three beautiful children: Noah (4), Maya (3) and Keira (2), all adopted from eastern Africa.

Emily may be new to the beauty industry but has been around it her whole life having her mother and cousin as stylists.  Having attended Indiana State University for two years she realized there was something else she should be doing.  After some soul searching she realized where she needed to be.  She moved to Indianapolis to attend cosmetology school and graduated in January 2011 from Aveda Institute where she learned the basics in mens and women’s cuts and colors, nails, waxing and makeup artistry.  Currently she works at Gentspa in downtown Indianapolis.  She loves every facet of the industry, especially women’s cuts and providing easy, helpful styling tips.  She’s excited to pursue her love and continue learning the latest trends in the art of hair and makeup.
